Course Details

Diploma of Health care and Bachelor of Nursing are two courses merged into one. These are two different qualifications that a student can achieve at the same time. This is a 3-year full-time course available for students of any nationality. Charles Darwin University has taken this innovative approach in terms of nursing education, and the university awards the Diploma of health care degree after the first year of study. With the achievement of this degree, an international student can simultaneously start working in the health sector and continue studying to finish their bachelor's degree.

The university also facilitates online studying; however, the nursing degree being a technical profession, students must take practical courses in the field. Charles Darwin University facilitates online students by organizing practical courses near their accommodation.

After completing a Bachelor of Nursing, you will be qualified to work as a registered Nurse in Australia. Besides theoretical courses, you must complete the two types of practical training vis simulation blocks and supervised clinical placements.

Each year consists of a 1-week simulation block that you must attend full time and on campus at any assigned simulation suites by the university.

International students enrolling at Charles Darwin university can choose to live on campus in one of three residences or live in a rented apartment in the city.
